We’re partnering with a high-growth company in the construction-tech space that’s shaking things up and making waves nationwide. They’re looking for a sharp, proactive Staff Accountant who’s not afraid to dig into systems, build scalable processes, and collaborate across departments.

What You'll Do:

This role is deeply integrated across the business—you'll work directly with the VP of Accounting, CEO, CTO, President, and Operations.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Systems & Processes: Spot inefficiencies? Build something better. You'll help implement scalable, tech-savvy solutions that support growth and enhance the customer experience.
  • Controls & Compliance: Design and implement controls for emerging business activities, and work hand-in-hand with operations and tech teams to ensure everything ties back to the financials.
  • Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting functions—AR, AP, billing, reconciliations, payroll, and more. Keep things organized and moving across multiple national projects.
  • Collaboration: Work with third-party accountants and tax consultants to support financial close processes and tax filings. Speed and precision are key here.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Be ready to jump in and support various departments with accounting needs that pop up along the way.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
  • A knack for solving problems and working independently

Bonus Points For:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Familiarity with APIs and how they tie into accounting systems
  • Knowledge of AIA documents, lien releases, COIs, Textura, and Coupa
  • Comfort navigating a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent communication chops

Salary is based on experience—including your API know-how.
