We are looking for a Director of Supply Chain for a manufacturing company who will be responsible for all product scheduling and supply chain activities, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources to meet business goals of cost, quality, procurement lead times, and on-time delivery.
Director of Supply Chain Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement global supply chain strategies that improve: Supplier performance, delivery cost and Time-to-market for new and existing product
-Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for new product introductions (NPI) and risk mitigation through alternate sourcing
-Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Logistics teams.
– Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers to drive continuous improvement
Director of Supply Chain Qualifications
-Minimum of 5+ years of senior leadership/Supply Chain Director experience in a manufacturing company
-15 years or more in various Planning and Supply Chain roles
– A track record of significantly reducing material costs, achieving dock-to-stock quality levels on purchased parts
-APICS certified at the CPIM level
-Proven success in applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
-Bachelors required, MBA highly preferred
