Bar Manager – Benefits and Compensation:

  • $70,000 – $80,000 base salary

Bar Manager – Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fine dining restaurants, private clubs, or luxury hotels
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage high-performing front-of-house teams
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate (current)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, POS platforms, and reservation systems
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining high hygiene, safety, and service standards

Bar Manager Must Haves:

  • Lead Bar operations and ensure seamless coordination across dining spaces
  • Maintain visibility and step into floor service as needed to uphold service standards
  • Handle accident reports and guest incidents swiftly and professionally
  • Support payroll and invoicing in the absence of the General Manager
  • Manage team performance through real-time coaching, recognition, and feedback
  • Cultivate a culture of warmth, humility, and hospitality among team members

Bar Manager Background & Skills:

  • Experience working in a private club or member-exclusive environment
  • Deep understanding of wine and spirits service
  • Knowledge of business reporting or P&L analysis
  • Ability to train others in guest experience and service recovery techniques
  • Comfortable working in a high-profile setting with VIP clientele
