We are a strong, growing restaurant group based in DC seeking an experienced Sous Chef for one of our our upscale, high-volume, restaurant locations. If you have 4+ years of upscale kitchen management experience and are looking for long-term growth, we want to talk to you!
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Exceed the expectations of every guest every time – focus on quality
- Train, coach, and direct the team – set the bar high
- Build respectful relationships with every member of the team while holding them accountable
- Control costs in the kitchen and manage high standards of service while paying attention to the details
- Ensure the team is upholding standards
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in management roles in upscale dining establishments
- Strong and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, positive attitude, strong communicator
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
- Flexible availability for schedules – some days/some nights
- Proven ability to uphold standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships – attitude and drive are everything
- Passionate, outgoing, patient, and persistent personality
