Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for luxury design and customer experience? We’re seeking a Sales Director to drive national growth for a fast-scaling outdoor living brand. This is your opportunity to shape sales strategy, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a high-touch, design-forward environment.
Sales Director Responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop Sales Talent: Guide a team of over seven Inside Sales Representatives and oversee the Customer Experience Center Manager, promoting a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Drive Sales Strategy: Craft and roll out comprehensive sales initiatives across both consumer and business channels, with a focus on improving conversion rates, driving revenue, and strengthening brand impact.
- Enhance Client Experience: Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to refine touchpoints and ensure every client engagement feels personal, polished, and consistent with the luxury brand.
- Monitor and Optimize Performance: Establish clear sales targets, analyze key performance indicators, and provide actionable coaching. Lead regular team reviews to reinforce accountability and track progress.
- Foster Cross-Departmental Synergy: Partner with leaders in marketing, operations, and executive management to ensure sales strategies are in sync with promotions, brand messaging, and growth objectives.
Sales Director Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in sales leadership, ideally in luxury, design, home improvement, or hospitality
- Background in luxury lifestyle or outdoor living, residential construction/custom-building, interior design showroom, luxury auto or marine, or building materials/architectural products required
- Strong analytical thinker with excellent communication and CRM skills
- Proven experience managing, coaching, and scaling inside sales teams
- Strong track record in B2C and B2B sales cycles with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to set and monitor KPIs, coach for performance, and lead team accountability
- Expertise in collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership
