We’re looking for a Catering Executive Chef for a high-volume catering operation.
Details of the role:
- Lead large-scale catered events with excellence and creativity
- Design, update, and elevate seasonal and event-specific menus inspired by global cuisines and modern trends
- Implement plating and presentation standards
- Manage the kitchen staff. Keeping track of workflow and execution
- Work with other teams such as sales, event planning, and operations teams to ensure perfect execution
- Maintain a culinary portfolio showcasing your work, including presentation and event execution
- Manage cost control though food ordering, inventory, and waste
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in high-volume catering or events
- Knowledge of international and contemporary culinary techniques
- Menu creation and editing
- Enjoy plating and an eye for detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse departments and teams
- Have a digital or physical portfolio of culinary work is required
