We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Remote Tax Supervisor who combines deep technical tax expertise with strategic insight and a drive to innovate. 🔍 What You’ll Do

• Act as the team’s go-to technical tax expert.
• Review complex returns (1120S, 1065, 1040) for accuracy, compliance, and tax optimization.
• Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team of tax professionals.
• Conduct tax research and build internal knowledge resources and best practices.
• Collaborate with our product and R&D teams to develop tax automation tools and improve tax modeling.
• Validate the accuracy of tax software and offer practical, actionable feedback.
• Occasionally provide strategic consulting for high-profile or complex clients.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of U.S. tax experience, with a strong focus on S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals.
• 2+ years of people leadership or team management.
• CPA or licensed tax attorney (required).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or taxation.
• Expertise in U.S. direct tax law and a sharp eye for detail.
• Bonus points for experience with:
  • C-Corps, estate/trust planning, or gifting
  • Private equity or venture capital clients
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, remote-first team.
