About the Opportunity
As the Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee all aspects of clinical operations within the health center. This role is ideal for an RN with a strong background in long-term care who leads with integrity, empathy, and a focus on excellence in resident outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage day-to-day nursing operations within the care facility
- Oversee staffing, training, and performance of the nursing team
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal long-term care regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and satisfaction
- Support quality assurance, clinical documentation, and regulatory readiness
- Serve as a role model for clinical excellence and compassionate care
What We’re Looking For
- Active RN license in Iowa
- 2+ years of experience in long-term care
- 3–5 years in a clinical leadership or management role
- Deep knowledge of LTC regulations, compliance standards, and quality initiatives
- Strong communication, mentorship, and organizational skills
