Our client is a respected and growing real estate/title company dedicated to providing top-tier legal services in residential and commercial real estate transactions. They are seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and client-centric Title Attorney to join their dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring smooth and legally sound closings, and aid in business development.
Title Attorney Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary between $65k-$85k plus generous commission opportunities

Title Attorney Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in TN
- 2+ years of experience in title law, real estate transactions, or related legal work
- Strong client portfolio and business development skills
- Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow processes, and real estate law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with real estate closing software
Title Attorney Responsibilities:
- Examine title searches, surveys, and other legal documents for residential and commercial transactions
- Identify and resolve title issues, including liens, encumbrances, easements, and boundary disputes
- Draft and review legal documents such as title opinions, deeds, affidavits, and closing documents
- Provide legal counsel to clients, agents, and lenders throughout the transaction process
- Coordinate with title examiners, underwriters, escrow officers, and other parties as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and underwriting guidelines
- Represent the company in closings, both in-person and remotely, when necessary
