Our well-established dermatology client is seeking a forward-thinking Practice Manager to lead office modernization efforts and enhance the overall practice operations and patient experience.
Practice Manager Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations including front office, billing, scheduling, and administrative functions for an office with 3 providers, 2 front desk, 3 medical assistance personnel, and remote team.
- Identify and implement process improvements and operational enhancements.
- Lead initiatives to modernize the practice, including workflow optimization and technology upgrades.
- Manage billing and coding activities to maximize reimbursements and minimize denials.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including collections, patient flow, and provider productivity.
- Oversee vendor relationships, budgets, and inventory management.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
- Train, develop, and lead administrative staff to foster a high-performing and supportive work environment.
Practice Manager Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in medical practice management, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Solid background in outpatient medicine, with billing and revenue cycle management expertise, and preferably experience in dermatology.
- Strong understanding of medical billing, coding (CPT/ICD-10), and insurance reimbursement.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and practice management systems (e.g., IMS, ModMed, Nextech, EMA).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Practice Manager Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in medical practice management (e.g., CMOM, CPM, MGMA/ACMPE).
- Experience with practice modernization projects (EHR implementation, workflow redesign, remote team implementation, AI integration, etc.).
- Understanding of GoHighLevel© CRM.
Practice Manager Compensation
- $90,000 – $130,000 salary with annual performance bonus
- Medical/dental insurance
- PTO / 401k / HSA / FSA
- 1 day a week working remote after 6-9 months
