Chef de Cuisine – Farm-to-Table | Portland, OR

We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine who is passionate about food, creativity, and making a lasting impact on the Portland culinary scene. This is a unique opportunity to take creative ownership of a scratch kitchen and work closely with ownership to design a seasonal, farm-to-table menu that reflects the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.

Chef de Cuisine – Benefits

Chef de Cuisine – Responsibilities

  • Curate and execute a dynamic, seasonal farm-to-table menu
  • Source fresh, local ingredients from trusted farmers and purveyors
  • Lead a busy kitchen with efficiency, consistency, and excellence
  • Collaborate with ownership on menu development, kitchen operations, and long-term culinary vision
  • Uphold high standards of kitchen cleanliness, prep, and food safety
  • Inspire and mentor back-of-house team members

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef, ready to step up
  • Passion for farm-to-table cooking, sustainability, and creative expression
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Hands-on, solutions-driven mentality with a commitment to quality
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
