Our client is seeking a Remote Tax Supervisor who brings deep technical knowledge, a strategic mindset, and a readiness to lead in a tech-savvy environment.
Tax Supervisor Benefits and Compensation

Tax Supervisor Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in tax, with a strong focus on S-Corps, partnerships, and individual clients
- Exposure to C-Corps, trusts, estates, and gifting strategies is a bonus
- PE/VC tax knowledge is also a plus, but not required
- At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring team members
- CPA license or JD with tax specialization
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
- Strong command of U.S. tax law and current compliance standards
- Excellent communicator who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments
- Act as the go-to technical authority for complex tax matters
- Review advanced tax filings including 1120S, 1065, and 1040
- Mentor and lead a small team of tax preparers
- Conduct in-depth tax research and support the creation of internal best practices
- Partner with R&D and product teams to refine tax modeling and automation tools
- Validate software functionality and provide insights for improvement
- Occasionally serve as an advisor on high-complexity or high-visibility client accounts
