Automation Product Engineer – Laser Welding Automation
Location: Monrovia, CA
We are seeking an Automation Product Engineer to support the design, development, and performance optimization of laser welding automation systems. This hands-on role involves working with cross-functional teams to specify, operate, and support precision equipment used in industrial production and automation.
Based in Southern California, our company has been a trusted innovator in the industry for over 70 years, providing advanced equipment for laser welding, resistance welding, laser marking, cutting, micromachining, and hot bar bonding. Our solutions serve a broad range of industries including medical devices, batteries, EVs, solar, electronics, automotive, and general manufacturing.
Automation Product Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Science Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, product management, or applications
- Experience with laser systems and industrial automation preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
