Seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in public works and capital project delivery. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in providing engineering services that support community development, infrastructure planning, and municipal project oversight.
Senior Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate Capital Improvement Programs (CIP)
- Review development and grading plans for code and design compliance
- Provide traffic engineering support and analysis
- Oversee stormwater management planning and implementation
- Perform other related municipal engineering tasks, including permit processing and technical consultations with developers, contractors, and public agencies
Senior Civil Engineer Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working within a municipal Public Works Department
- Valid registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California
- Strong working knowledge of California public agency design standards, codes, and regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex municipal projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Senior Civil Engineer Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CEQA and permitting processes
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software tools
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineering staff
