Independent local favorite restaurant seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to help lead a high-volume, scratch kitchen. Assistant Kitchen Manager Benefits and Compensation:

Assistant Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of kitchen leadership experience in a scratch-cooking, high-volume environment

• Proven ability to maintain high food quality and consistent execution

• Hands-on leadership style focused on training, accountability, and team development

• Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation (ServSafe certified)

• Capable of working a flexible schedule, including opening, mid, and closing shifts

Assistant Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

• Experience with wood-fired ovens and pizza preparation is a plus

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

• Skilled in menu development, inventory control, and cost management

• Collaborative mindset—able to work closely with ownership and contribute ideas to evolve operations
