We are seeking a skilled Head Bread Baker to produce high-quality artisan breads for our retail shops, catering program, and wholesale partners. This is a hands-on role focused on traditional techniques—sourdough, baguettes, focaccia, specialty loaves—crafted with premium ingredients in a high-volume production environment.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with our Head Bread Baker to ensure consistency, efficiency, and creativity, while maintaining an organized, safe, and positive kitchen culture.

Head Baker -Key Responsibilities:

• Produce, shape, proof, and bake a wide variety of breads to exacting standards
• Support fermentation, proofing, and baking processes to maximize product quality
• Monitor dough consistency and finished product for quality assurance
• Operate and maintain baking equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment
• Communicate ingredient and inventory needs to kitchen leadership
• Collaborate with kitchen & delivery teams to meet daily production goals
• Contribute ideas for process improvement and recipe innovation

Head Baker – Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional bread baking experience, ideally in a high-volume setting
• Strong understanding of sourdough fermentation and traditional techniques
• Solid grasp of baking science, dough development, and ingredient functionality
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work efficiently in a team
• Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
