A growing, multi-unit hospitality and retail concept is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join our leadership team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive financial planning, oversee accounting operations, and help scale the financial infrastructure of a dynamic, community-driven brand.
The ideal candidate is a CPA with experience in hospitality or food production, a hands-on leadership style, and a passion for building innovative, sustainable businesses.
Finance Director – Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee all accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, payroll, expense policies
- Manage purchasing contracts and vendor relationships in collaboration with operations
- Partner with leadership to provide strategic financial insights and guidance
- Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and strong financial processes
- Supervise and optimize AP/AR functions to ensure healthy cash flow
- Prepare and present regular financial reporting to ownership and leadership
Finance Director – Qualifications:
- 3+ years in finance leadership, ideally within hospitality, bakery, or food production
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- CPA preferred, not required
- Experience managing vendor contracts and purchasing terms
- Proficient in Restaurant365 (or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Finance Director – What We Offer:
