Construction Inspector Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Inspector, preferably in utilities, roadway, ODOT, pedestrian facilities or other Civil projects
  • Ability to work in the field regularly
  • Open to travel
  • Familiarity with construction codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
  • NICET and ACI Certification
  • LPA project knowledge and ODOT prequalified (Preferred but not required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess compliance with project plans, specifications, and relevant regulations
  • Monitor construction progress, materials, and workmanship to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying potential hazards and ensuring that safety protocols are followed on-site
