We're looking for a confident and capable Production Manager with 5+ years of experience to run day-to-day operations at our meat processing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a small team (currently 3) with room to grow. If you're someone who can jump in, solve problems, lead with accountability, and knows your way around a bandsaw—this might be for you.

Production Manager Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily production operations
Supervise and grow a small, skilled team
Operate and oversee use of: breaking/chop saws, mixers, grinders, band/bone saws, vacuum packers
Ensure USDA compliance and maintain high sanitation and safety standards
Think on your feet, fix issues as they arise, and communicate solutions
Contribute to basic marketing efforts and keep digital records

Production Manager Requirements:

You’ve got butchering skills and understand the ins and outs of processing hogs, goats, cattle, sheep
Knowledge of meat-packing equipment is a requirement!
You’re not just an order-taker—you take initiative, stay accountable, and lead with confidence
Familiar with USDA certifications and procedures
Comfortable with computers and have a bit of marketing savvy

Production Manager Benefits:
