We're looking for a confident and capable Production Manager with 5+ years of experience to run day-to-day operations at our meat processing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a small team (currently 3) with room to grow. If you're someone who can jump in, solve problems, lead with accountability, and knows your way around a bandsaw—this might be for you.

Production Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily production operations
  • Supervise and grow a small, skilled team
  • Operate and oversee use of: breaking/chop saws, mixers, grinders, band/bone saws, vacuum packers
  • Ensure USDA compliance and maintain high sanitation and safety standards
  • Think on your feet, fix issues as they arise, and communicate solutions
  • Contribute to basic marketing efforts and keep digital records

Production Manager Requirements:

  • You’ve got butchering skills and understand the ins and outs of processing hogs, goats, cattle, sheep
  • Knowledge of meat-packing equipment is a requirement!
  • You’re not just an order-taker—you take initiative, stay accountable, and lead with confidence
  • Familiar with USDA certifications and procedures
  • Comfortable with computers and have a bit of marketing savvy
