We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hotel Accounting Manager in Daytona to oversee and manage the financial operations of our property, which includes multiple revenue streams. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning to support the hotel's profitability and long-term success.

Hotel Accounting Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cash management, and revenue reconciliation
  • Reconcile and analyze multiple revenue streams, including room revenue, F&B outlets, events, spa, parking, retail, and other hotel-related services
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets, review P&Ls, and forecast
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the regional controller and the ownership
  • Maintain files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, and accounts receivable documentation
  • Handle workers' comp claims and compensation

Hotel Accounting Manager Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive hotel accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field of study
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct, Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook. Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams and senior leadership, as well as working independently
