We are seeking a seasoned Metal Recycling Process Manager with hands-on experience in non-ferrous metal scrap processing and auto dismantling operations. This role requires deep knowledge of heavy-duty equipment, particularly auto shears, and a strong background in recycling non-ferrous materials. The ideal candidate will lead day-to-day operations, overseeing equipment performance, production targets, safety compliance, environmental regulations, and team management. This is a leadership role in a fast-paced, industrial environment with a strong focus on operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Metal Recycling Process Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 recent years of experience in a metal scrapyard, specifically in non-ferrous metal recovery within a production management role.
- Hands-on expertise in operating and maintaining heavy equipment (auto shears), with a strong focus on safety, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while managing production and maintenance schedules, hiring, and enforcing safety standards.
- Proficient in analyzing production data to drive performance improvements and support data-driven decision-making.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining SOPs, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Committed to continuous improvement through process optimization and cost-reduction strategies.
