Job Title: Sous Chef

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Sous Chef to help lead our culinary team. If you thrive in high-energy environments, know your way around a smoker, and can execute in tight spaces like a food truck, this is your opportunity to shine. You'll work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations, bold flavors, and consistent execution across our restaurant, BBQ pit, and food truck service.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day kitchen operations across indoor kitchen, BBQ pit, and food truck
• Execute recipes to spec while maintaining high food quality and presentation
• Supervise prep, line, and food truck teams during service
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
• Collaborate on menu innovation and seasonal specials
• Lead by example with a hands-on, team-first leadership approach
• Assist with ordering, inventory, and waste control

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years experience as a Sous Chef
• Barbecue cooking experience (smoking, grilling, roasting) is a big plus
• Food truck or mobile kitchen experience preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and fast-casual volume service
• Ability to lead and train kitchen staff in a high-paced environment
• ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification
• Passion for global flavors and team culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Culinary school training or relevant certifications
