- We have an immediate opening for a controller in our well known club in New Haven, CT. We are offering a strong salary of $100,000 and have a great work life balance with one week off in July and one week offer during Christmas fully paid plus PTO plus a quarterly bonus! Apply now! MUST HAVE COUNTRY CLUB, GOLF CLUB OR PRIVATE CLUT EXPERIENCE. Come work with a great team with solid tenure and we offer a great work life balance and hybrid work schedule!
- Controller Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing financial statements and budgets
- Responsible for working closely with management to guide them in making strategic business decisions
- Responsible for payroll
- Responsible for overseeing banking and insurance relationships
- Annually work with third party auditors on tax returns and annual reporting
- Supervise and train direct reports
- Work hand in hand with the General Manager and Board
- Controller Qualifications:
- At least 5 years as a Controller
- Strong financial acumen
- Club Essential software preferred or similar private club centric programs like Jonas.
- Self starter and detail oriented
- Payroll expertise
- Experience working in a golf club, country club or private club
- Controller Benefits:
- Solid salary of $100,000
