A busy plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation, including trial exposure. This position is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish/English) professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, demonstrates strong initiative, and can anticipate the needs of a case and legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with attorneys and legal staff to manage a high volume of litigation cases across state, federal, and multi-jurisdictional courts
- Coordinate all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and client correspondence
- Organize deposition summaries, trial notebooks, exhibits, and legal memoranda for courtroom presentation
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently
- Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards in line with firm policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in plaintiff personal injury, civil litigation, or employment law
- Working knowledge of court rules, procedures, and e-filing in various jurisdictions
- Strong legal writing, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Proficiency in legal software, document management systems, and case tracking tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as needed
