We are hiring a Director of Technical Engineering to join our growing team in Southern Europe. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee an expanding engineering division, shaping the future of our technology initiatives and organizational structure. Your focus will include scaling resilient infrastructure, optimizing cloud deployments, and elevating software engineering standards across the company.
You’ll lead a team of 10+ engineers, drive agile development processes, and ensure tight collaboration with our research, product, and operations teams.
Director of Engineering Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in software development and/or DevOps positions
- 2+ years leading DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure teams in technology-driven companies
- Master’s degree required; Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks
- Demonstrated success in launching scalable cloud-based systems
- Proficient with AWS and Azure platforms
- Proven history of managing teams of at least 10 engineers
- Professional fluency in English and a major Southern European language preferred
Director of Engineering Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary between €90,000 and €100,000
