General Superintendent – Structural Steel Construction

Our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding steel erection company, is seeking a skilled General Superintendent to join their team. Specializing in structural steel framing for mixed-use commercial and warehouse buildings, this company is known for delivering high-quality projects across a variety of sectors. The General Superintendent will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from pre-bid planning through to final walk-through—ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality throughout.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience as a General Superintendent with a General Contractor
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial structural steel systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Proficiency in all aspects of industrial steel erection and detailing
  • NCCER Certification (preferred)
  • OSHA 30 Certification (required)
  • Degree in Construction Management (preferred)
  • Strong computer and tech skills
  • Proven work history with clear career progression
  • Strong people management skills
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
