What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–7 years of post-grad accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading a team of up to 5 people
- High proficiency with Excel, Macros, and MS Office tools
- Familiarity with Power Query (Power BI exposure is a plus, not required)
- Experience customizing financial reports
- Sage 100 or 300 experience is REQUIRED – no exceptions
- ERP system knowledge and system implementation/admin experience
- Comfort working in manual systems and a roll-up-your-sleeves culture
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take full ownership of end-to-end accounting and analysis
- Manage the monthly close process and generate actionable financial reports
- Lead the organization and execution of physical inventory audits
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor trends, analyze variances, and evaluate inventory and CapEx balances
- Support cross-functional system implementations across departments
- Be an active presence on the manufacturing floor during inventories
