Seeking a Feeder Yard Manager to lead daily operations at our scrap metal yard. You'll manage a team of six, ensure safety and efficiency, handle material flow, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Feeder Yard Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Supervise and train a team of six employees.
  • Operations: Oversee material receipt, processing, sorting, and shipments.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment & Maintenance: Manage equipment use and maintenance schedules.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor material flow and coordinate logistics.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance yard efficiency and cost savings.
  • Customer Relations: Collaborate with vendors and customers for quality service.

Feeder Yard Manager Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in scrap metal recycling or yard management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of scrap processing, equipment operation, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
  • CDL and bilingual (English/Spanish) are pluses.
