Senior Geotechnical Project Manager Engineer – Relocate to Houston, TX!

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Geotechnical Engineer P.E. to lead and execute geotechnical engineering services for a diverse portfolio of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on private developments, utilities, municipal infrastructure, and light industrial projects, providing critical engineering insights to ensure successful project outcomes.

As a key technical leader, you will oversee geotechnical investigations, conduct engineering analyses, and contribute to business development initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in reviewing construction documents, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Senior Geotechnical Project Manager Engineer P.E. Benefits:

Senior Geotechnical Project Manager Engineer P.E. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, including field assessments and laboratory testing.
• Perform advanced geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, settlement, and foundation design.
• Develop detailed engineering reports with findings, analyses, and project-specific recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance on design, construction practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and project documentation for a wide range of geotechnical projects.
• Collaborate with clients, project teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and success.

Senior Geotechnical Project Manager Engineer P.E. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in geotechnical design, site investigations, and construction best practices.
• Proficiency in geotechnical modeling software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, permitting processes, and geotechnical codes.
