We are seeking a talented Structural Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in structural design and thrive in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will contribute to significant projects by creating detailed designs, providing technical solutions, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams. This position reports to the Engineering Manager for Energy Systems.
Structural Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural designs and layout plans
- Prepare general arrangements, structural drawings, and sketches using 2D and 3D modeling tools
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Regularly communicate technical details, identify potential challenges, and propose timely solutions
- Actively participate in project reviews and team meetings
Structural Designer Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years in a related field)
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD
- Experience with TEKLA is strongly preferred; familiarity with Plant 3D is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Capable of interpreting technical instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagrams, or schedules)
Structural Designer Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $65,000–$90,000 annually
