Are you an experienced financial leader with a passion for startups and a proven track record in securing institutional investment? We're seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join us on a contract basis and drive our financial strategies and operations to new heights.

CFO Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's financial health and growth.
• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
• Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, tax planning, and treasury management.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and assess financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing financial insights and analysis to support business objectives.

CFO Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably in startups seeking institutional investment.
• Luxury hospitality exposure also preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial strategies into actionable plans and results.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and accounting principles.
• Demonstrated track record of driving financial performance, growth, and operational excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
