Staff / Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Remote

Compensation: $75,000 – $80,000 base salary

About the Opportunity

A growing national healthcare technology company is seeking a Staff / Senior Staff Accountant to support its expanding finance team. This role will work directly with the CFO and play an important part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations for a distributed organization that includes corporate staff, inside sales representatives, and field-based sales teams.

This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who enjoys working across multiple areas of accounting and wants to grow within a fast-moving company.

Healthcare experience is not required.

What You’ll Do

• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Assist with payroll-related accounting for W2 employees and 1099 contractors

• Support accounts payable, invoicing, and revenue tracking

• Help track commission structures and sales-related compensation

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Assist with 1099 reporting and coordination with external accountants

• Support ongoing improvements to accounting workflows and reporting processes

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–6 years of accounting experience

• Experience supporting general accounting functions and financial reporting

• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems

• Strong Excel skills

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a remote environment and collaborating with distributed teams
