Provider-led bioscience technology company specializing in advanced wound care solutions, biologics, and healthcare innovation. Team partners with providers nationwide to improve patient outcomes through advanced diagnostic resources, innovative technologies, and operational support.

As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to help support and scale the financial infrastructure of a dynamic, distributed organization.

About the Role

The Senior Accountant will work directly with the Chief Financial Officer to manage key accounting functions, maintain accurate financial reporting, and support the operational growth of the company.

This role supports a remote workforce that includes corporate staff, inside sales representatives, and field-based sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership

Payroll & Contractor Accounting

• Support accounting for both W2 employees and 1099 contractors

• Coordinate payroll reconciliation and financial recording

• Maintain accurate accounting for commissions and incentive compensation

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage vendor payments and expense tracking

• Assist with invoicing and revenue recognition

• Monitor accounts receivable and support collections when necessary

Sales & Commission Accounting

• Track compensation structures for inside and outside sales teams

• Ensure accurate commission calculations and reporting

• Prepare financial reporting related to revenue and sales performance

Compliance & Financial Controls

• Maintain GAAP-aligned accounting practices

• Assist with 1099 reporting and tax documentation

• Support external accountants during tax preparation or audits

Systems & Process Improvement

• Maintain accounting systems and financial tools

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting processes

• Support the development of scalable financial infrastructure as the company grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles

• Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms

• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

Preferred

• CPA or CPA-track

• Experience supporting small or high-growth companies
