Marketing and Communications Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or development, preferably within a nonprofit organization
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Technically proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, publishing software, and website management
- Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Previous experience in a faith-based setting a plus

- Adaptable to occasional weekend or evening events as needed
- Comfort with audio-visual systems and technology
Marketing and Communications Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Update and implement mission-aligned communications and marketing strategies for both internal and external audiences
- Shape and manage the organization’s brand voice and visual identity across various channels
- Develop and execute campaigns to promote programs, major events, and community outreach
- Establish and monitor a robust digital presence, including website maintenance and social media engagement
- Track digital analytics and provide actionable insights on engagement
- Act as a central communications hub, collaborating with staff and committees to ensure all materials are up-to-date and brand-consistent
- Oversee publications, bulletins, newsletters, annual reports, and event-related content
- Support event planning and content creation through onsite coverage and creative input
