We are seeking a Senior/Lead Chemist for our client who is a leader in the automotive paint supplier market.

Senior/Lead Chemist Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or Advanced degree and 5+ years applicable experience
Advanced knowledge in coatings and chemistry
Working experience with dispersion principles, equipment and troubleshooting
Excellent customer/supplier relationship skills as well as excellent collaboration across departments
Ability to train/mentor junior team members and to build sound business processes
Must have experience using dispersing equipment and sound troubleshooting experiences
Open to travel to customer sites (up to 25 %)
Detailed oriented, okay with lots of documentation; Proficient with Excel
Ability to wear PPE and respirator use at times
