Our client—a rapidly growing specialty construction company with a strong reputation for innovation and excellence—is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Risk Management & Quality Assurance. This is a pivotal leadership role for a professional who thrives in both strategy and execution, driving safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of complex structural projects.

From pre-construction through project close-out, you’ll champion operational excellence, elevate performance standards, and help shape a culture where safety, quality, and accountability define success.

*This role will require relocation to TN

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in safety, quality, or risk management (construction or manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge of AISC Certified Steel Erector Standards, OSHA, and related industry compliance programs – Required
  • Recognized certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
  • Proven success in implementing and managing quality and safety management systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally to job sites as needed (approx. 25%)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
  • Ability and desire to relocate to Tennessee
