Our client—a rapidly growing specialty construction company with a strong reputation for innovation and excellence—is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Risk Management & Quality Assurance. This is a pivotal leadership role for a professional who thrives in both strategy and execution, driving safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of complex structural projects.
From pre-construction through project close-out, you’ll champion operational excellence, elevate performance standards, and help shape a culture where safety, quality, and accountability define success.
*This role will require relocation to TN
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of progressive experience in safety, quality, or risk management (construction or manufacturing industry preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of AISC Certified Steel Erector Standards, OSHA, and related industry compliance programs – Required
- Recognized certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
- Proven success in implementing and managing quality and safety management systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally to job sites as needed (approx. 25%)
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Ability and desire to relocate to Tennessee
