We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join a new, high-profile opening on Madison Avenue. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on delivering refined service, supporting daily operations, and leading a team in an elegant, guest-first environment.

Assistant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hospitality or café experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team while delivering exceptional guest service
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Calm and solutions-oriented under pressure, especially during high-volume service
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a premium brand environment
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Must Haves
- Lead service with a guest-first mindset, ensuring personalized, attentive experiences
- Supervise and support front-of-house staff, providing real-time coaching and mentorship
- Assist with onboarding, training, and cultivating a culture of accountability and pride
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and ambiance
- Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and break allocation to ensure service flow
- Support inventory control, vendor communications, and order placement
- Handle cash management, reconciliations, and end-of-day reporting
- Maintain strong product knowledge of menu items, training staff to do the same
- Ensure service and environment align with brand standards and seasonal activations
Assistant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in luxury hospitality, premium café, or fine dining environments
- Knowledge of coffee programs, specialty drinks, and pastry operations
- Previous involvement in new openings or concept launches
- Strong skills in guest relations and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with scheduling tools, POS systems, and vendor management
