We are looking for a highly experienced, Senior level Hotel Chief Engineer for our portfolio of properties. This position will be working at multiple properties on challenging and high level projects throughout New England; some overnight travel will be involved. Ideal candidates will have experience with many different aspects of maintenance, including Pools, HVAC, Refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and everything else!

Roving Chief Engineer Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as a Maintenance manager / Chief engineer / Director of Facilities for a Full Service Hotel
  • Experience with HVAC
  • Experience with Pools and Spas, CPO preferred
  • Experience with Commercial kitchen and equipment
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience soliciting bids from contractors and overseeing their work
  • Experience creating CapEx project proposals and estimates
  • Out-of-Box thinker and problem solver!

Roving Chief Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Work with different hotel Chief Engineers on special projects and maintenance challenges
  • Communicate with other hotel departments on engineering and maintenance needs
  • Create and oversee CapEx project proposals, solicit bids from contractors, and oversee project to completion
  • Other duties as assigned
