Join a dynamic and growing plaintiff-side employment law firm as a Pre-Litigation Employment Law Attorney. This role is ideal for a strategic and client-focused attorney with experience in employment law who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about advocating for employee rights. The position focuses on early-stage legal strategy, factual development, client counseling, and negotiation before formal litigation begins. This is a critical role within our legal team, aimed at setting the tone and trajectory of each case through thorough case vetting, legal analysis, and early resolution efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-related matters in the pre-litigation phase, including claims of wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, retaliation, and discrimination.
- Conduct detailed client interviews, assess legal claims, and develop case strategies.
- Draft demand letters, legal memos, and early-stage legal documents.
- Gather and review evidence including personnel files, wage statements, and written communications.
- Negotiate settlements and communicate directly with opposing counsel to seek early resolution.
- Collaborate with intake, litigation, and operations teams to ensure smooth case progression.
- Prepare matters for litigation handoff when pre-suit resolution is not possible.
- Maintain strong client communication throughout the case lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Active member of the California Bar.
- 7+ years of experience in employment law litigation, including substantial exposure to wage and hour, class action, and PAGA matters.
- Experience drafting demand letters and negotiating pre-suit settlements.
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment.
- Empathetic, strategic, and solutions-oriented approach to client matters.
