Sous Chef – Chef Driven Italian Concept

Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in high-volume, casual-fine dining kitchens
- Proven leadership with empathy, organization, and high standards
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety protocols
- Experience collaborating on menu development
- Genuine passion for Italian cuisine and culture
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Guide daily prep and execution with both precision and creativity
- Balance efficiency with artistic presentation and flavor
- Train, motivate, and lead team members through a positive and accountable kitchen culture
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Contribute to a seasonal, ingredient-focused menu that blends tradition with innovation
Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience with grilling and crudo preparation
- Familiarity with sourcing local and imported ingredients
- Interest in ongoing learning and culinary exploration
- Background in scratch kitchens and chef-driven menus
- Desire to grow within a dynamic, supportive restaurant group
