General Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
We're looking for a hands-on operator who thrives in a guest-focused, high-accountability environment:
- Minimum 4 years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant
- Solid, stable work history – we’re not a fit for job hoppers
- Proven track record of full FOH/BOH oversight and leadership
- Skilled in labor planning, scheduling, and team building
- Comfortable managing inventory and leading cost control efforts, especially in bar operations
- Able to confidently own the P&L, identify trends, and collaborate with ownership on financial decisions
- Strong communicator and morale builder who leads by example
Unique Daily Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with bar staff to maintain precise liquor inventory and costs
- Conduct team check-ins to reinforce standards and celebrate wins
- Lead pre-shift huddles to align service goals with daily priorities
General Manager – Preferred Background & Skills
While not required, we’d love to see:
- Experience launching or helping grow a small-to-mid-size restaurant group
- Comfort operating in a high-volume, scratch kitchen or chef-driven concept
- Familiarity with implementing new systems or processes for team efficiency
- Passion for developing future leaders and cultivating internal promotions
