Are you a strategic and results-driven financial leader with a passion for hospitality? We’re looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join our premier luxury resort and spa. In this key executive role, you'll guide financial operations, support department leaders, and help drive an exceptional guest experience through sound financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations of the resort, ensuring compliance with GAAP and safeguarding company assets
  • Provide financial insights and strategic guidance to department heads to maximize profitability and operational efficiency
  • Lead monthly financial reporting, including reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and variance analysis
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, licensing, and insurance obligations
  • Supervise and mentor finance department staff to ensure accuracy, accountability, and growth
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and monitor all resort expenditures, including purchases, sales, salaries, and expenses
  • Maintain strong internal controls and oversee audits and risk management protocols

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of hospitality finance/accounting experience, including team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with hospitality systems such as Opera, Micros, Symphony, ProfitSage, Inventa, or Canary Digital Tipping is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • High integrity and professionalism in all financial dealings
  • Ability to clearly communicate financial data to non-financial department heads
  • Proven experience in staff development and training
