The Kitchen Manager will be instrumental in helping open and operate a high-functioning, well-organized kitchen. This role will oversee day-to-day BOH operations, ensuring top-tier food quality, team performance, cleanliness, and cost management. As a key member of the opening team, the Kitchen Manager will work closely with ownership and the culinary team to build systems, train staff, and establish a positive and professional kitchen culture. Kitchen Operation Manager Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of kitchen leadership experience (Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef level)
- Prior experience in upscale dining or new restaurant openings preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen systems, BOH operations, and food safety
- Experience with scheduling, ordering, inventory, and cost control software
- Calm under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Must be ServSafe certified or able to become certified before opening
