HVAC/R Service Technician

Our client's mission is full service HVAC/R contractor specializing in commercial AC, heating, and refrigeration services. Due to growth, we have opportunities to work with repair and maintenance of commercial buildings including restaurants, stores, pharmacies, banks, hospitals, and other large complexes. As a Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations by diagnosing, repairing, installing and providing planned maintenance on a broad range of HVAC/R, boilers, furnaces, and coolers and dishwashing equipment. Your work makes you a valuable partner to our customers by helping them improve their service operations, equipment uptime, and overall profitability. 

HVAC/R Service Technician Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors.
  • Provide service to all customers in your area by demonstrating your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
  • Communicate with manufacturers as needed, to help with diagnoses and parts identification
  • Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory

HVAC/R Service Technician Requirements

  • AT LEAST 2 years of HVAC journeyman level operation, maintenance, and repair experience in the HVAC/Refrigeration trade.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
  • Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (i.e EPA)
  • Commercial refrigeration equipment repair experience is a plus.
