CNC Machinist II – 1st & 2nd Shift – Near Columbus, GA

Join a high-performance team as a CNC Machinist II, where you will take command of CNC mills and lathes, delivering flawless precision and ensuring top-level production.

CNC Machinist II Benefits and Compensation:

  • 1st shift: Four 10-hour days, enjoy long weekends

CNC Machinist II Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of CNC manufacturing experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, stock lists, and CMM reports
  • Advanced knowledge of machine technology, precision measurements, and tooling
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to process instructions
  • Experience with material handling and basic troubleshooting
  • Conduct daily inspections and user maintenance on assigned machinery
  • Train others on CNC processes and promote a culture of safety and quality

CNC Machinist II Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience with precision tools such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches
  • Familiarity with tool changes, offsets, and operating preset/measuring equipment (Zoller or similar)
  • A strong drive to perform every assignment with accuracy, efficiency, and pride
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes
