Metal Trader

Summary

Scrap Metal Recycling company seeking a Commodities Trader to price, procure, and manage ferrous and non-ferrous scrap packages in a fast-paced, market-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Track scrap metal market trends, create daily price sheets, and price scrap materials competitively
Procure scrap metal packages and manage supplier relationships
Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules with vendors and customers
Support strategy to optimize input costs and improve margins through foundry and export sales

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and strong Excel/Office skills
Experience in financial analysis and forecasting
Ability to manage tight deadlines, multitask, and report on financial performance
Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical

Skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and relationship management
Independent worker with solid time management and problem-solving abilities
Analytical mindset with ability to manage complex projects
