Part-Time Legal Assistant |Flexible Schedule | Diverse Caseload | Opportunity for Growth
A fast-growing and dynamic legal practice is seeking a part-time Legal Assistant to bring order, organization, and reliability to a fast-paced and varied caseload. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, has excellent organizational instincts, and values confidentiality. The role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to support high-profile legal matters—perfect for someone seeking a high-trust work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee document and file management—organize, label, store, and digitize case materials
- Assist with general litigation support across a rotating caseload (e.g., family law, criminal defense, civil disputes)
- Create and maintain systems to improve office and case organization
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Support light administrative needs: calendaring, tracking deadlines, and client follow-up
- Communicate with attorneys and stakeholders professionally and reliably
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable managing multiple, non-repetitive legal tasks
- Prior law firm or litigation assistant experience
- Excellent discretion and respect for confidentiality
- Perfect for: retired legal professionals, former top-tier assistants, or someone seeking part-time, stable work with occasional celebrity exposure
- Comfortable working 25–35 hours/week with flexibility (remote)
Compensation:
- $20-$30 per hour
- Flexible schedule; 25-35 hours per week
