In House Counsel
A rapidly growing, global professional services company is seeking a sharp and adaptable In House Counsel to join its U.S. legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong foundation in litigation who thrives on variety, cross-functional work, and solving complex challenges across multiple areas of law.
You’ll serve as a key partner to leadership, supporting U.S. operations with a focus on litigation, labor & employment, ethics, compliance, and emerging legal issues such as AI and intellectual property. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with a lean legal team that values flexibility, autonomy, and development.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide legal support across litigation, employment, compliance, ethics, and IP matters
- Manage and advise on internal investigations, regulatory risks, and workplace issues
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to deliver business-focused legal guidance
- Help shape legal strategy and policy as part of a small, strategic legal department
- Stay informed on evolving laws, regulations, and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- JD from an accredited law school; licensed in at least one U.S. state
- 4–9 years of experience in litigation or a combination of litigation and in-house counsel work
- Investigatory or regulatory background (e.g., DOJ or white-collar exposure) is a plus
- Willingness to work across multiple legal disciplines—this is not a siloed role
- Strong communication skills and business judgment; ability to work independently
