Chief Financial Officer – Hospitality Group | Sevierville, TN – Onsite

A well-established, family-owned hospitality group based in Sevier County is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer CFO to join their executive team. With nearly 50 years of community presence and a reputation for Southern hospitality, the organization operates a diverse portfolio including restaurants, franchise concepts, and a remote lodge destination — all with deep local roots and ambitious plans for growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to ownership. The CFO will serve as the right hand to the President, taking full ownership of the financial function while partnering closely with operational leaders to drive results across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy across multiple properties and brands (including franchise operations and a hospitality site).
• Oversee all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and financial risk management.
• Direct the finance and accounting teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and system optimization (ERP: Microsoft Great Plains).
• Support new development and expansion plans, including real estate investments, new brand launches, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to drive margin improvements, control labor and procurement costs, and evaluate pricing strategies.
• Manage banking, insurance, tax preparation, and investor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with hospitality industry standards and regulations.
• Act as a proactive, decisive business partner who can step in and lead.

Candidate Profile:

• CPA required.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in financial leadership; hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable overseeing multiple entities with distinct revenue streams.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and operational budgeting.
• Assertive, confident, and highly accountable leadership style.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across departments.
