We are opening an exciting new venue under a well-established, successful hospitality brand, and we're searching for a dynamic Venue Director / General Manager to lead the charge in Raleigh, NC. This individual will be the face of the venue, overseeing every aspect of operations while inspiring a culture of excellence, community, and innovation. General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a General Manager or Venue Director role within a high-volume, full-service or entertainment-focused concept
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team of managers across FOH and BOH operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and labor controls
- Direct experience with event sales planning, execution, and revenue growth
- Demonstrated success in building a positive guest experience, driving sales and achieving operational excellence
- Experience in safety compliance, team training, and operational systems management
- Hands-on leader with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate with corporate leadership and report directly to the VP of Operations
General Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or restaurant management (or equivalent experience)
- Track record of implementing successful Local Store Marketing (LSM) strategies and community engagement initiatives
- Comfortable being the public face of a brand and engaging in external business development
- Experience opening new locations or managing transitions in fast-paced environments
